zxWORKBENCH for MSP430F1XX

Description zxWORKBENCH is a single microcontroller development platform that supports multiple microcontrollers, facilitating rapid microcontroller software development. Evaluation boards are great for becoming familiar with microcontrollers and their associated tools. However, when serious development work begins, they are not very effective. Unlike evaluation boards, the zxWORKBENCH has an extensive collection of fully connectorized and configurable power sources, voltage references, peripherals and interface circuits, including alphanumeric display, keyboard, digital I/O, analog I/O, audio I/O, open-drain outputs and relay contacts. It also includes integral interfaces for interchangeable microcontroller boards and optional I/O boards. The zxWORKBENCH comes complete with power supply, jumper wires, jumper plugs and ribbon cables. The companion microcontroller boards, which can be operated standalone, include ZIF sockets so that different microcontrollers from a given microcontroller family can be used without the need for supplemental boards. The zxWORKBENCH works with existing compilers, FET, JTAG and bootloading tools. Description zxCSP is a single software framework that supports multiple microcontroller architectures, facilitating rapid application development. It includes an ultra compact high performance real time operating system, chip device drivers and an extensive library of pre-tested and pre-integrated software functions. zxCSP packages are provided as an object library for the MSP430F1XX using a specific software development tool chain.
